It is so important to obey YHVH, for your son’s sake if not for your own! And yet, even so wicked a man as Ahab, when he humbled himself before YHVH, called forth YHVH’s mercy on his head. God is great indeed! If even for someone like Ahab, how much more for you and me! ♥
Psalm 20, Remembering the Name

The implication is that we remember the name of YHVH our God — which means “The hand, behold! The nail, behold!” — when we need help, support, and saving strength. In other words, we are to look at the nails that pierced His hands as He hung on the cross, and see the great lengths He went for us.
Because we are in covenant with Him, while others trust in their chariots and horses, we trust in YHVH our God, the One who saves by His mighty right arm. ♥
Luke 24, The Chiasm of the Resurrection

Luke’s account of the resurrection differs in a few details from the accounts we have read previously in Matthew and Mark. Luke was the historian and claimed to have searched everything out and presented what happened in order. Was he mistaken? No. The differences in the Resurrection accounts are merely different details of this earth- shattering event. When the puzzle pieces from the different Gospels are put together, a grand larger picture emerges, with the joyful news, as the central axis indicates, that Messiah Yeshua is risen indeed!
