Do not reject the plea for repentance when you hear it, for YHVH is waiting to have mercy on you! But if you harden your heart and stiffen your neck, then disaster is decreed against you.
Psalm 106, Chiastic structure
Additional studies: Psalms, Book Four: Psalms 90-106 Index
Finally we have a strong paragraph division! Psa 104, 105, and 106 are all together teaching a single theme, since we have not had a strong division since the conclusion of Psa 103. Psa 104 recounted the Lord’s awesome works as Creator and Ruler of the universe; Psa 105 recounted the Lord’s awesome works in creating a people for Himself in Israel, and Psa 106 seems to be recounting the Lord’s awesome works and His mercy in keeping and maintaining that people, in saving them and bringing them back to Himself time and again, despite the best efforts of flesh, sin, worldliness, evil influence and the like to draw them away from Him permanently. All who are His, He is able to restore! Praise the Lord! ♥
Hebrews 2, Yeshua our High Priest
Additional studies: Hebrews Index
The Root Word parable for ‘to sanctify,’ Strong’s G37, is of the wall which makes a separation between two parties. When one comes through the wall via its door, the two parties can be joined together. Here we are seeing that Aaron the high priest was a Prophetic Type and foreshadow of Messiah Yeshua, the eternal High Priest, who makes a door in the wall of our sins which separates us from God, so that we can be reunited with Him again.
